PCS Ft. Benning
Fort Benning and nearby Columbus Ga and Phenix City are wonderful places with a warm, temperate climate, friendly people, charming, historic downtown, and easy access to camping, hunting, fishing and hiking. Many military retire to the area . There must be something great about the friendly atmosphere, sunshine, river, lakes, parks, restaurants, theatres, churches and shopping!
The community is full of retired military, active duty military, and civilian employees. It's a place with a small town feel and has many of the amenities of a larger city. We're a short distance to Atlanta, and a few hours away from the ocean.
